Had my appointment at the fertility clinic today...Here are the results:
Right ovary- 15mm follicle & 13.59mm follicle
Left ovary- 10mm follicle and (2) 8mm follicles
She informed me that the follicles on the right hand side will most likely mature, but the ones on the left are a little too small.
So it looks like August has yielded me 2 follicles. My CD12 scan is Wednesday, this will check to see how much they have grown (or if they have grown). I'm praying SOOO hard for these 2 little muffin cakes to mature!
Fertility Lesson 101:
Follicles are the sack that contains the egg. A mature follicle is around 18-24mm, follicles grow about 1-3mm per day.
On Wednesday, I should know exactly when my IUI is planned. My guess would be Friday or Saturday IF the follicles grow like they should.
Fertility Lesson 102:
IUI is not IVF... hence the results are MUCH lower.
